He stands in the shadows.
He hides in the mind,
Occasionally screaming words,
Into the dark melee,
Of a troubled mind.
His eyes sharply focus,
On the images in the mind.
He deconstructs,
And reconstructs,
Thoughts and fears,
Into mood altering,
Reaction provoking,
Tirades of self doubt,
With few happy moments.
He is the monster inside.
The dark creature that perches,
On shoulders weighed down by worry.
He is the devil that rises,
In the chaos of life.
