I think I'll take life,
In the key of C-Sharp.
There should be no lyre,
And also no harp.
A good trumpet section,
And woodwind will do.
Some Violins and cellos,
Can all join the queue.
No atonal music that blurps and farts.
No clanging or clanking,
Or stops and starts.
Just write something nice,
For the musical arts.
Oh and if you need lyrics,
Make sure they are good.
I've heard some down the years,
That would rot solid wood!
So I think I'll take life,
In the key of C-Sharp.
And I won't take the lyre,
But reconsider the harp,
For the musical feast
In the key of C-Sharp!

Don't Deny Me Music
Music makes you think,
And cry,
And laugh.
Music reminds you,
Of times that are happy,
Times that are sad.
Music heightens your emotions.
It can frighten, thrill, caress,
And comfort.
Without music I am nothing,
Like being without love.
Don't deny me that.
Don't deny me that...
