So 2012 has a few days left...

So what's happened this year?

Well I fell in and out of love, struggled against my varying illnesses / drugs programs, spent 5 days in hospital again! My greatest friend had his civil ceremony which I missed because of being in hospital. Wrote a poem for it which went down well, but what did I achieve?

I don't know!

All I would like to do is spread love, peace and happiness and share it with someone...

Gained some new friends, especially my best mate, james' new partner JC who's a lovely guy.
And talking to a new friend, Justin, a funny likeable guy who shares a common thread that I shall not mention hehe ;)

Hopes for 2012? Love love love! Actually I've learnt that going for big goals doesn't work because they're too un achievable, so it's best to set those little goals that you can get to relatively easily. My first goal is to finally rid myself of the morphine I've been taking for way over a year. I'm already half way through that so it will happen in 2012. I shall handle other things as they come.

Things I regret in 2011?

Not getting to know someone I really liked / like properly.
Trying to take my own life by over injecting insulin.
Self harming and the constant battle with it.
Having to miss James and JC's Civil Partnership Ceremony because of another bout of pneumonia...

Let's hope 2012 turns everything around for everyone!

The Night is Silent

The night is silent,
No snow will fall.
And near a brazier,
No cat will call.

The tree is furnished,
The presents wrapped.
Children sleep fitfully,
Their parents relaxed.

And in the morning,
The silence breaks.
All presents given,
All food Mum makes.

The Christmas pudding,
And all before.
The Turkey Stuffing,
Anyone want more?

And then it's over,
And all goes quiet.
Now January sales,
Will create a riot!

For one day only,
We give and give.
Whilst all the year,
We strive to live.

HALF WAY!!!!! YEAH!!! WHOOPEE!!! WOO-HOO!!!

Started taking 20mg morning and 30mg evening.

No trouble so far.

Shortest bulletin yet hehehe :D <3

Gawd it's December already!

Well folks I'm down to 60mg as of today!

It's getting slightly easier. I've noticed a cycle. For the first few days me body protests loudly and I have weird dreams, but after that things calm down and relative stability sets in until the next drop.

I don't seem to be as paranoid as I was.

So all things going well. With any luck it'll get easier as I go lower. A few months ago I couldn't even imagine being without the drug, but now I can imagine taking the last one a single 10mg yellow pill at night. Lovely <3
