Not all vampiric creatures,
Are cold blooded,
Cold hearted killers.
Some drink only by consent.
Some don't drink at all,
Gaining their sustenance,
From other sources.
Some even retain their humanity,
Though by nature they're now,
Not human.
Legends don't concern them.
Superstition makes them curious.
The first lust for blood,
Can make the newly,
Reborn dangerous,
But they hardly ever succumb.
Their goal is to preserve human life
They will protect humans,
As long as they exist.
This is the time of the Diurferatu,
And the Nosferatu.
This is the time of the Blacklight.
Not all vampiric creatures,
Are cold blooded,
Cold hearted killers...
