Will I have succeeded?

Will I have succeeded,

If I free a soul in torment 'fore I die?
If I've managed to out-tweet Stephen Fry?
If I'd have taken one all step upon the moon?
if I'd sung the National Anthem and in tune?

Would it be so very much if I should ask,
That at least I succeed in some minor task?
Would I regain some extra confidence,
And no longer remain sitting on the fence?

I shall do my utmost to be loving and to care,
About how I can best distribute peace and love to share.
If it means that I can listen like a pro,
Then I'll do it in life and everywhere I go.
