The Only Duck In Maldon
By J R A Gigney
The only duck in Maldon came waddling up to me,
"It's lonely here,
I've got no friends,
Do you want to come round to tea?"
I was taken aback,
Surely ducks only quack!
But the offer had been true.
So I went around,
And the meal was sound,
With lots of cream cakes too.
