Sight

Sight By J. R. A. Gigney

I'm going blind!
Brutal but true.
My sight is getting worse,
First in my right eye,
Now my left has started.
So I need to write.
I need to put things on paper,
Or online...
I don't know how long I've got.
Weeks, months, years,
But it will happen...
If I had hair to pull out I would with relish.
I'm scared...
Frightened...
Lost....

  1. Take one day at a time.
Do as much as your body and mind will let you, but don't push yourself too hard, no matter how tempting.
Make everything you write the best that it can be.
If you need to get on with the next project, but haven't time to titivate the current one, ASK YOUR FRIENDS TO HELP YOU!
I'm always available for a spot of editing pre-publication.
I feel as if I'm living on borrowed time and I understand the fear and sense of urgency of your situation. The thought of losing my eyesight would horrify me.
Keep yer chins up! Wanna borrow my neck brace?
    Love and kisses,
