Funny thoughts go through my head,
Sometimes it's worth a listen.
I wonder if these thoughts when said,
Would make the reader glisten.
Now in my mind they rum around,
With nothing on their feet,
Is that the thumping in my head?
Or just life's eternal beat.
I wonder why the sky is blue,
I wonder about clouds.
I wonder if it occurs to you,
That magic is unbound.
And as this verse gets stranger,
And as my mind goes mad.
Then does it mean that I am ill?
Of course I'm not I'm glad.
The time has come for all bad things,
To turn and become good,
And let those funny thoughts come back,
And dance naked in the wood.
The thoughts are back, I'll write them down,
You'll see them in the posts.
And if ypu frown I'll invite you round,
But you can be my hosts!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Hello, Dear Boy!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you got rid of that HORRIBLE underlining, it was making me giddy. Now I can read and enjoy your poems.
I do like this one, but I'm not sure it's made me glisten, or shine lustrously, as the dictionary says.
You say "rum" around... is that a sleudian frip?
The punctuation deteriorates towards the end and the tryping errods wouldn't get you published, BUT...
THIS IS ONE OF YOUR BEST AND FUNNIEST POEMS!!
Well done,
Love and kisses,
Auntie Gee XXX
