Churchbank
By J. R. A. Gigney
Little oblong slice of green,
Surrounded by the living boxes,
Hiding from the outside chaos,
Hidey hole to slide back into,
You triple lock your doors,
To shut out the World,
Yet you look out at the green,
Wondering,
Dreaming of space,
Little oblong slice of green,
Lost in an urbanised brick lined jungle.
